Dakota County will partner with the citiy of Farmington for Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection. HHW includes items such as: fluorescent bulbs, paints, pesticides, cleaners, and mercury thermometers.

  • Farmington: Saturday May 31 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farmington Public Works Facility, 19650 Municipal Drive. No electronics will be collected at the Farmington collection.
All Dakota County residents are invited to drop off HHW at the above listed event (no charge). No business waste will be accepted. The Dakota County Eco-Site is open year-round for HHW drop-off. Visit http://www.co.dakota.mn.us/ and search on "Eco-Site" for materials accepted, days, and hours.
